Scott Dressler has served as a Township Trustee since 1998 with his current term expiring 12/31/17. Mr. Dressler also served eight years on the Copley-Fairlawn City Schools Board of Education. He is a graduate of Copley High School and the University of Akron. He has a background in transportation and finance.
Helen Humphrys has served Copley Township for 30 years, first as the Clerk-Treasurer and now the last ten years as Township Trustee. Mrs. Humphrys' current term of office expires December 31, 2015. Mrs. Humphrys has been active in every aspect of our Township. She is the Secretary/Curator of the Copley Historical Society, an active member of the Copley Lions Club, adult of Healthy Community Healthy Youth, and a life member of the Ohio PTA. In the region, she serves on the Summit County Planning Commission under appointment of the Summit County Executive, is President of the Township Association of Summit County and an executive committee member of the Coalition of Large Ohio Urban Townships.
Dale Panovich is a long-time trustee, first elected in 1988. She served 16 years with a short two-year gap from 2004 to 2006. She was re-elected as a trustee in November 2005 and her current term expires December 31, 2017. Dale has been active in many different venues in the community including Copley Schools PTA, Heritage Days, Copley Historical Society, Healthy Communities - Healthy Youth, Community Coalition and the Summit County Convention and Visitors Bureau. She also volunteers her time for the annual Share-A-Christmas, Halloween at the Park and the Bike Rodeo. She and her husband have lived in Copley for 34 years raising their three sons, all graduates of Copley High School. She was employed for 22 years by Copley-Fairlawn Schools and is currently retired from Copley-Fairlawn Schools as Director of Food Service.
