Scott Dressler has served as a Township Trustee since 1998 with his current term expiring in 2013. Mr. Dressler also served eight years on the Copley-Fairlawn City Schools Board of Education. He is a graduate of Copley High School and the University of Akron. He has a background in transportation and finance.
Helen Humphrys has served Copley Township for 25 years, first as the Clerk-Treasurer for 21 years and now the last five years as Township Trustee. Mrs. Humphrys' current term of office expires December 31, 2011. Mrs. Humphrys has been active in every aspect of our Township including the Heritage Day Committee, Historical Committee, various school committees and other township activities. She also serves on the Summit County Planning Commission and Stormwater Committee.
Dale Panovich is a long-time trustee, first elected in 1988. She served 16 years with a short two-year gap from 2004 to 2006. She was re-elected as a trustee in November 2005 and her current term expires December 31, 2013. Dale has been active in many different venues in the community including Copley Schools PTA, Heritage Days, Copley Historical Society, Healthy Communities - Healthy Youth, Community Coalition and the Summit County Convention and Visitors Bureau. She also volunteers her time for the annual Share-A-Christmas, Halloween at the Park and the Bike Rodeo. She and her husband have lived in Copley for 34 years raising their three sons, all graduates of Copley High School. She has been employed for 22 years by Copley-Fairlawn Schools and is currently Director of Food Service.
