Helen Humphrys has served Copley Township, first as the Clerk-Treasurer for 21 years, and now as Township Trustee. Ms. Humphrys' current term of office expires December 31, 2019. Ms. Humphrys has been active in every aspect of our Township. She is the Treasurer and Curator of the Copley Historical Society, active member of Copley Homeowners Association, adult member of Healthy Community Healthy Youth Copley-Fairlawn, and a life member of the Ohio PTA. In the region, she serves on the Summit County Planning Commission under appointment of the Summit County Executive, Township Director of the Summit County Land Reutilization Corporation, Township representative on Copley’s Community Improvement Corporation, President of the Township Association of Summit County (TASC) and an executive committee member of the Coalition of Large Ohio Urban Townships (CLOUT). On a personal note, Ms. Humphrys has three grown sons, Bill, Sean and Scott all graduates of Copley High School and is the Sunday School Director of St. Joseph Church in Akron.
