SCPH Will Offer Johnson & Johnson Vaccinations on Thursday June 10th at Summit County Public Health
[Akron, OH] – Summit County Public Health will offer a drive thru clinic for the one dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine this Thursday June 10th at 1867 W. Market St. Akron, Ohio 44313. The clinic will be offered from 9:00 am – 11:00 am and from 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm. No appointments are necessary for Thursday’s clinic; walk-ins will be accepted. Individuals must be 18 years of age or older to receive the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
Although the COVID-19 public health orders have been lifted as of June 2, 2021. SCPH encourages those residents who are unvaccinated to continue to engage in safe and effective behaviors to reduce the spread of COVID-19:
Stay home if you’re sick, even with mild symptoms
Be mindful in your interactions with others. Limit your chances of exposure by maintaining social distancing of at least six feet from non-household members
Wear a mask in public
Consider necessary travel only
Follow good hygiene standards:
o Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
o Use hand sanitizer frequently
Avoid touching your face
Cover coughs and sneezes
