Beginning July 1, 2022, Ohioans can legally discharge 1.4G fireworks in Ohio on certain days. The fact sheet summarizes the details of this new regulation and answers some frequently asked questions. At this time, Copley Township has not enacted restrictions on the discharge of fireworks that are any greater than the restrictions imposed by the State of Ohio. The Copley Police Department is aware of the change in law and will, as usual, fully enforce this regulation.
