Women Safety Tips Lunch and Presentation

Women are at higher risk than ever before and Copley Police Officer, Sarah Shendy, will share safety tips at the next Amazing Grace meeting Saturday, September 24, 12:00 PM at the Copley United Methodist Church. “Crime is up for sure and women have become the target of many of these events,” Officer Shendy said.

“You have to be aware all the time of people around you and watch for warnings.”

Amazing Grace is a new faith-based women’s group focused on faith, friendship and community projects. A potluck Super Salads lunch will be at 12:00 PM followed by Officer Shendy’s  presentation. Please bring a salad to share. All community ladies are welcome. The group meets at the Copley Church, A United Methodist Fellowship, 1518 South Cleveland Massillon Road, Copley. September is Summit County’s Senior Safety Awareness Month.
