Over the years the program has grown significantly. The total number of driveways that are able to be serviced on this program is 200.
The qualifying requirements for this program have changed.
Senior Citizens: Applicant must be at least 75 years of age, be the property owner, and reside at the address on the application. There must be no one else residing with the applicant under the age of 75 years old that is physically capable of removing snow.
Disabled Citizens: The applicant's disability must be such that prevents them from removing snow. All new applicants must provide medical certification in the form of a letter or note from their physician as proof of disability. Previous participants are not required to resubmit proof.
