Copley Residents,
As we enter the severe weather season, we must ensure timely and accurate notifications are available to Copley Township residents using the latest technology. Copley Township has used a siren system for many years to alert the community when dangerous weather conditions are imminent. However, the system is antiquated and in need of significant repairs.
Like many other communities in Summit County, the Copley Township Board of Trustees has determined to leverage the latest technology available and utilize personal communication devices (cell phones) to meet this need. This alerting system will provide immediate and accurate information to Copley Township residents about emergency and non-emergency situations that affect Copley Township.
For now, Copley Township's sirens will activate when appropriate. However, the siren system is not as reliable as it once was and is prone to malfunctions. As we transition to our new alerting system, we encourage all Copley Township residents to sign up for Regroup notifications by following the link below.
