Summit County COVID-19 Small Business Emergency Relief Grant Program
The Summit County COVID-19 Small Business Emergency Relief Grant Program (the “Program”) will provide small business grants of up to $5K for Summit County small businesses that have been economically disadvantaged by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Funds in excess of $1.2 million have been committed to the grant program with a combination of general fund dollars and Community Development Block Grant funds. Summit County is leading this investment with more than $750,000 committed. The City of Akron has committed $100,000 and Jump Start in collaboration and partnership with the KeyBank Boost and Build Program (https://boostandbuild.org/) has also committed $100K. In addition, a number of communities including Barberton, Bath Township, Copley Township, Coventry, Cuyahoga Falls, Fairlawn, Green, Mogadore, Norton, and Tallmadge have also committed funds to the grant program.
