Copley Community Volunteers

Where Things Get Solved When You Get Involved!

Looking for a way to get involved in your community or a chance to meet your neighbors and contribute to Copley Township?  The new Copley Community Volunteers group has the answer!  This group of Copley residents started out creating events for our recent Bicentennial celebration and haven’t missed a beat since!  Now, their focus is on supporting and participating in Township events, establishing a Beautification Committee, and fundraising for the Copley Outreach Center and other philanthropic organizations.

Their first event of 2020 is centered on Earth Day in April, followed by the Copley Car Show in July and Heritage Days in August.  Plans are underway for a wine/cheese tasting event in September and of course, the Trolley Shop Hop in December.  The Beautification Committee is looking to establish a program recognizing Township residences and businesses that go above and beyond in making their properties extra special.  In addition, a few specific areas of the Township have been targeted to revitalize - a great opportunity for gardeners and landscapers - or those that "wanna-be"!  Throughout, the group will be raising funds for our local outreach philanthropies.

So...how do you get involved?  If you’re available, the group meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Town Hall at 6:30 PM.  If you don’t "do meetings" - no problem.  You can keep updated through the Copley Community Volunteers FaceBook page or website or the Township website or call Beth at the Town Hall (330-666-1853) or email her at bsiddall@copley.oh.us and sign up to volunteer and receive email updates.  There are no restrictions on how much - or how little - you do.  The important thing is to get involved in your community!
