Copley Community Park

Copley Community Park is an 80-acre facility located at 3232 Copley Road about 3/4 mile east of Copley Circle. It was made possible with the donation of land from Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing (3M) to Copley Township and a grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources natureWORKS program. The park opened in 2003 and has become a favorite spot for visitors to enjoy the outdoors. It is open every day of the year from 7 am to dusk. There are three rentable pavilions that accommodate 80 people each, two baseball/softball fields, four soccer fields, two playground areas, a sled-riding hill, and an ice skating pond. There is over a mile of paved walking trails that wind through the grounds and a small length of the unpaved path that leads through the woods. The trails border wetland areas where visitors can see Mother Nature at work with all kinds of different flora and fauna and the retention pond is home to different aquatic animals and plants (no swimming or fishing please).

The playground is equipped with 2 swings for children with disabilities.

Northeast Ohio Family Fun has named Copley Community Park as one of the best 50 Playgrounds in Northeast Ohio.

Annual Event

There are light refreshments, a DJ, hayrides, pumpkin painting, and other fun activities and games to keep the kids busy. There is also a trick-or-treat trail so there is plenty of Halloween candy.
